IR Vandal Proof Dome Camera

The IR Dome is a new addition to Cantronic's line of security surveillance products. Designed for indoor or outdoor use the IR Dome is constructed of die-cast aluminum with a shatterproof polycarbonate dome. Inside the vandal-proof housing is a hi-resolution color CCD camera with a fixed lens. In low light or night situations the IR Dome has a photo sensor that switches the camera to B/W. This is further enhanced by the built-in 24-LED IR illuminator, which provides illumination up to 15m(49ft) in little or no light. Other features include automatic white balance, automatic backlight compensation, low power consumption as well as a wide input voltage range.

Applications:

The IR Dome is suitable for placement in areas where cameras may be vandalized or subject to tampering. This includes monitoring on low hanging ceilings, in unattended areas or in places where hostility exists such as prisons, schools or factories. The housing can be flush or surface mounted and features an "O" ring for environmental sealing.
