The Cantronic Model IR860 Infrared Imaging Camera is a portable infrared thermography camera system based on an advanced 320x240 uncooled BST or Microbolometer FPA detector. The camera requires no cooler, and hence almost no maintenance.
The IR860's advanced detector offers an image array size of 320x240 pixels. The detector has a high thermal sensitivity in a long wavelength (8-14μm). This innovated camera offers accurate full screen temperature measurement and excellent features at a reasonable price. The combination of an advanced detector with 4″ display screen, full-screen radiometric capability, and PC card image storage makes IR860 a compact and easy-to-use thermal imager. The IR860 is especially suited to industrial applications such as predictive and preventive maintenance, quality control, firefighting, security, medical imaging and R & D.

The IR860 offers full-screen radiometric capability, allowing temperature readout for any spot on the infrared image – in both live and frozen modes. A completely adjustable crosshair cursor is used for this temperature readout.
Because it is uncooled, the IR860 powers on very quickly. Additionally, the IR860 operates at a live video frame rate of 30Hz, making it an excellent tool for real-time temperature scanning of a large area and facility. Image storage and playback are simple tasks, performed by pushing the corresponding button.
Image temperature data can be instantly analyzed while still on the camera, by moving the cursor over the image with user interface buttons. Emissivity is easily adjusted to insure accurate temperature readings. Images are stored on the built-in PCMCIA memory card. Store hundreds or thousands of images on optional high-density cards.
CMView Plus for IR860 Windows 95/98/NT/2000 based image analysis and reporting software. It provides all of the tools you need to archive, organize and analyze infrared images. Compare “before” and “after” images to ensure the problem has been fixed.
